Doris E.J. Wetzel, 75, of Klingerstown, passed away Friday, August 18th, at her home.

Doris was born in Mandata, on December 13, 1941, a daughter of the late Geneva (Rebuck) and Oscar Baumert.

Doris was employed most recently as the manager of the Big Wrangler Steak House in Halifax and prior to that was the Food Service Manager for the Tri-Valley High School.

She was a member of the Paxton Bible Church, Dalmatia, PA.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, entertaining guests, canning, freezing and cooking.

She was the wife of Ronald "Mick" Roy Wetzel, Sr., they married June 28, 1959.

Doris is also survived by a daughter, Donna, wife of Neal Snyder, of Brodheadsville, PA; a son,Ronald R. Wetzel, Jr., of Harrisburg; a sister, Evelyn Zerfing; a brother, Richard Baumert; two grandchildren Jason and his wife Laurie Snyder and Justin Snyder; 2 great grandchildren Avery and Cole Snyder.

She was preceded in death by two brothers; Gary Baumert and Oscar Baumert Jr.

Viewing will be held Tuesday, August 22, 2017 from 6-8 PM. at the Stephen R. Rothermel Funeral Home 1133 Ridge Rd., Klingerstown. Viewing will also be held Wednesday, August 23, 2017 from 10-11 AM at the Paxton Bible Church 5298 State Route 147 Dalmatia, with the funeral service following at 11 AM with Pastor Dan Lepley officiating. Interment will follow at Rickard Memorial Cemetery Dalmatia, PA.

Randall S. Lerch, 52, of Ashland, PA passed away unexpectedly Saturday, August 19th,2017. Born in Ashland, PA on August 17,1965 the son of the late Robert and Dawn (Kissinger) Lerch. Randy delivered for the Republican Herald Newspaper for over 10 years;distributed for Guers iced tea and milk products and serviced vending machines throughout the area. He attended North Schuylkill High School and was a social member of the American Legion. Two sisters who preceded him in death Debbie Lerch and Tina Allen. He is survived by a son Cody Lerch, a daughter Jade Lerch, and two brothers Robert and Bradley Lerch. 

Funeral Services will be held at the Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland PA at 11:00 AM on Thursday August 24, 2017. Rev. Dana Heckman-Beil officiating. Visitation Thursday 9:00-11:00 AM from the Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland.

Richard A. Kreager, 86, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Saturday at his residence surrounded by family.

Richard was born in Schuylkill Haven, Sept. 4, 1930, a son of the late Helen and Gustav Kreager.

He attended Cressona schools.

He was of the Lutheran faith.

He was a farmer his whole life. In his later years, he developed Rolling View Estates.

Richard was an avid pigeon racer and competed in many area meets. His weekends were spent enjoying breakfast with friends.

He was a life member of the soil conservation district and a lifelong sponsor of 4-H and Future Farmers of America.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Miller; a son, Richard; a grandson, Aaron Kreager; a sister, Fern Minchoff.

Richard is survived by his granddaughter, Jenny, wife of Jason Weaver, Schuylkill Haven; a daughter-in-law, Sandy, widow of Richard Kreager; nieces and nephews

Family and friends may call from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Ebling-Stabingas Funeral, 26 Chestnut St. There will be no services at the funeral home. Private interment service will be in Summer Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Mark Brooks officiating. The family requests donations to Hospice of Central PA, 1320 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110, or to an area agricultural organization.

Florence "Flossie" Bulcavage, 90, Ashland, passed away peacefully Sunday morning at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.

Born in Morea she was a daughter of the late Onufer and Fatina Mackenka Seamon. She had been employed as a sewing machine operator for the former Model Garment Factory, Frackville, until her retirement.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Polish National Catholic Church, Frackville, the Frackville Area Senior Citizens and the American Legion post #398 Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Bulcavage, her grandson Justin Kitsock, brothers Andrew and John Seamon and sisters Mary Washour, Anna Tellup and Helen Seamon.

Flossie is survived by her daughter Donna wife of James Freeman, Spring Hill, FL, her granddaughter Marissa Starr and by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral mass for Florence will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday in St. John the Baptist Polish National Catholic Church, Frackville, with Rev. Robert Plichta as the celebrant. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, W. Mahanoy Twp.. Friends may call at the church on Thursday morning from 10 a.m. until time of mass
