Police Investigating Shooting that Resulted from Argument Early Sunday

The Pottsville Police Department is investigating a shooting that resulted from an argument Sunday morning in the city.


According to police, the incident occurred around 3:30am in front of 304 West Market Street, when an argument led to shots being fired into the building.

Police have not released a name, but a 36 year old man was injured, treated, and released from the hospital for minor injuries.

Police say that 3 suspects were involved in the incident and fled the scene just before police arrived.

Pottsville police and detectives are actively working on an investigation to identify the suspects in the incident.
