One Person Flown to Hospital After Accident on Route 183

Emergency personnel were called to Route 183 in the area of the Blue Ridge Hotel for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment Wednesday afternoon.


One person was reported entrapped and a helicopter was called to transport the patient to the hospital.

There was no word on the extent of the injuries

Crews from Summit Station, Pottsville Rescue, and Berks County were called.
