Shoplifter Lead Police on Five Community High Speed Chase

On Saturday, a Pottsville man led police on a high speed chase through five communities.

According to the Morning Call, David Flynn, 50, of Pottsville led police on a high speed chase through Blythe Township, New Castle Township, Frackville, West Mahanoy Township and Cass Township on Saturday.

The chase started around 3:30pm, when Flynn allegedly shoplifted from Wal-Mart in St. Clair.

Witnesses told Skook News that the suspect nearly caused numerous accidents as it traveled through a busy Frackville.

Flynn was sent to county jail under $20,000 bail on charges that include fleeing and eluding police, reckless endangerment and driving under the influence of a controlled substance.
