Ringtown Library Events Planned for June and July


The following events are planned by the Ringtown Library for June and July.

The Magic of Money with magician and math educator Craig Collis, Wednesday June 24th at 2pm for Kindergarten through 6th grade. Craig uses magic, games, music & audience participation to explain to children concepts related to making choices about money – saving, spending and sharing. This program is funded in part by a grant from the Schuylkill Area Community Foundation.

The Franklin Institute’s Traveling Science Show “Heroes of Flight” makes a stop at the Ringtown Area Library on Wednesday, July 8th at 2pm. Recommended for 1st – 6th grade. Mechanical birds, hot air balloons, gliders and even a rocket launch are used to demonstrate the forces of flight and the process our heroes went through to test their powers. This program is funded by a grant from the Schuylkill Area Community Foundation.
