Police Asking For Public's Assistance With Incidents

The Shenandoah Police Department is asking for the public's help with information regarding two incidents in the borough that were reported around 6:00am on Sunday, July 19th.

The first incident was someone threw a "basketball" size boulder through a windshield through the windshield of a white 2000 Chevrolet Cavilier on South Chesnut Street.  The vehicle sustained severe damage.  Three boulders were found on and around the vehicle.

The second incident involved a hit and run in the 100 block of South Lehigh Street.  A blue 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee sustained damage to it's bumper overnight after someone struck the vehicle and left without reporting it to the owner or police. Lense fragments, from what appeared to be a taillight, were recovered at the scene.

Anyone with information regarding both incident should call Shenandoah Borough Police at (570) 462-1008 or (570) 462-1991.  All caller information will remain confidential.
