Train Excursions Scheduled for Schuylkill Haven Borough Day

On Saturday, September 26th, Schuylkill Haven will be celebrating Borough Day.  Part of the days events include train excursions by the Reading Blue Mountain & Northern Railroad Company.


The train ride includes appearances by Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, and Tigger, by the Schuylkill Haven Area Teacher's Association.

Three trips are scheduled at 11:00am, 1:00pm, and 3:00pm

Advanced tickets can be purchased at Dr. Robert Kempes & Stine's Pharmacy on East Main Street.  They can also be purchased by mail by sending the following information to the address below

send your check or money order made out to SHBDC along with a

• self-addressed, stamped envelope with your request:
• 1. # of adult tickets and/or # of children’s tickets
• 2. which departure time -11 am, 1 pm, or 3 pm

Pricing is as follows

• Adults - $13
• Children (12 and under) - $9
• Infants (2 and under) - Free but must have a complimentary ticket
