Man Charged with Making Terroristic Threat

An Ashland man has been charged with terroristic threats after forcing his way into a home on Saturday, October 31st.

According to WNEP, Gerald Muth barged into a home on Brock Street and told people inside he was trying to find his ex-girlfriend and he would cut throats.  He was later found by police in an apartment building hallway passed out.

Muth was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Christina E. Hale and sent to Schuylkill County Prison unable to post bail.

Muth has been charged by Ashland Police with criminal trespass, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, terroristic threats and public drunkenness.

A preliminary hearing is set for November 8th.
