McCann Opens Micro Market

On Wednesday, McCann School of Business opened a Micro Market at the Pottsville Campus.

The Avenue C market, which is located in their student lounge, is a self serve-self pay convenience store stocked with drinks, hoagies, snacks, coffee, and more.

Students and staff can pay with credit card or create an account that they can add money to.  After setting up an account, customers can pay via their thumb print.

An anti-theft camera system monitors the store and is enforced by the vending company Covenco.

Covenco was the schools vending company previously.

The Micro Market is the second of it's kind in the county.  The Wal-Mart Distribution Center is home to the first.
