Two Arrested for Involuntary Manslaughter in Connection with Heroin Overdose in Berks County

Two from Schuylkill County have been arrested in connection with the death of a man who overdosed on heroin in Berks County.

Sean Hess, of Auburn, and Kaitlin Leibensperger, of Pottsville, have been charged with involuntary manslaughter, drug delivery resulting in death, hindering, concealing, or destroying of evidence, use or possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, tampering with evidence, recklessly endangering another person, amongst other drug related charges.

According to WFMZ, the arrests are in connection with the death of Joseph Deleon in November 2014 when Hess and Leibensperger injected Deleon with heroin and later left him in the back seat of a car near the Landingville Fire Company, Landingville.
