(12/22/15) On Monday night, Mahanoy Township Police were dispatched to the area of the Burma Road in regards to a male flagging down motorists.
Upon arrival, police located a male wearing only a hooded sweatshirt on the side of the road with his genitals exposed. When police attempted to make contact with him he then fled into the woods.
Shortly after the male identified as Brendon Hasara, of Mahanoy City, was taken into custody. It was gathered he was walking for about 5 hours from Mahanoy City to Saint Clair when he stated his pants got wet so he took them off.
Hasara was transported to Schuylkill Medical by Ryan Township EMS. Mahanoy City Police assisted with the incident. Charges were filed by Patrolman Burlett of Indecent Exposure, Open Lewdness, and Disorderly Contact. Hasara will have to answer to Magisterial District Judge Anthony Kilker in regards to these charges
