Suspicious Package Found at the Pottsville Post Office

According to authorities, a suspicious package was found at the Pottsville Post Office Friday morning.


Buildings in the area including county offices were evacuated.

Centre Street in the area of the Post Office is reported to be shut down.

UPDATE:  According to the Republican Herald, the State Police used an x-ray to examine the package and gave the all-clear around 11:30am
