Four Face Drug Charges After Drug Bust; Meth Seized

On Wednesday June 15th, 2016, multiple individuals were arrested and jailed on drug charges and other related offenses.

Borough police received information that multiple variations of drugs at varying amounts were being sold out of a residence in the 100 block of East Oak Street.

Police obtained a search warrant for the residence which was then executed leading to the arrests of Cody Murphy of Frackville, Catherine Bainbridge of Frackville, Luis Deschamps of Reading and Carlos Martinez of Reading.

During the course of the search warrant police seized Methamphetamine, Marijuana, pills and multiple items of drug paraphernalia.

All four adults were charged by police with Possession of A Controlled Substance With The Intent to Deliver, Possession of A Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Criminal Use of A Communication Facility and Endangering Welfare of A Child.

Bainbridge and Martinez's bail was set at $50,000 straight cash while Murphy and Deschamps's bail was set at $10,000 straight cash all of which could not be posted at the time of arraignment.

All four suspects were committed to the Schuylkill County Prison and will have to answer to the above charges before MDJ Hale, Frackville.

Local surrounding departments that helped assist Frackville PD were the Schuylkill County Drug Task Force, Butler Township, Mahanoy Township, West Mahanoy Township, and the Schuylkill County Sheriffs.
