Two Face Drug Charges After Traffic Stop

Frackville Borough Police have filed DUI and drug charges against George Barlow and Jason Bredbenner stemming from an incident that occurred on May 13th, 2016.

According to Police, they received a call referencing a suspicious vehicle parked in the area of 200 N. 2nd street with two male occupants. 

Police arrived in the area and located the vehicle traveling East on West Spring Street

. Police conducted a vehicle stop on the vehicle. A short investigation into the incident revealed that Barlow was driving under the influence of a controlled substance.

 The male passenger in the vehicle,  Jason Bredbenner, was taken into custody on an outstanding drug warrant. 

Inside the vehicle police found laying in plain view multiple bundles of empty heroin bags. 

Barlow of Shenandoah Heights was charged with DUI Drug Schedule l Controlled Substance, DUI Drug Schedule ll or lll Controlled Substance, DUI Drugs Incapable of Safe Driving, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and One Way Roadways And Rotary Traffic Islands. Bredbenner of Shenandoah was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 

Both men will have to answer to the above charges before Magisterial District Judge Christina Hale, Frackville.
