Ashland Downtown Celebrates Holidays with An Old Fashioned Christmas

On Saturday evening, the cold didn't stop Ashland from celebrating the holidays.

The Ashland Downtown Old Fashioned Christmas took place from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.

The event took place at the "Mini Park" located at 5th and Centre Streets next to the American Legion.   It offered free carriage rides, free hot chocolate and cookies, food, raffles, and a visit with Santa.

Also open for the evening was the Ashland Historical Society, the Station House, and the Winterwalk.

Carriage rides were provided by Running Springs Farm, Spring Glen, and took people from 5th to 9th Street and back.  Carolers were also on hand, adding to the holiday atmosphere.

Even with the cold, attendees were still out enjoying the event until the event ended at 8:00pm.
