Reward Offered for Information Leading to Arrest for Stolen Vehicle

Police and Owners of a vehicle that were stolen and burnt are asking for the public's help identifying the person(s) involved.

A Red Mercury Mountaineer was stolen Monday morning from East Broad Street, Tamaqua and later found behind the Tamaqua Elementary School torched.

Parts from the vehicle were also found on Schuylkill Avenue near the section that is currently closed. 

Tamaqua Crime Watch is offering a $250 reward for any information that leads to an arrest of the suspect(s).

Anyone with information should contact the Tamaqua Police Department at (570) 668-6100.

Several other vehicles were reported to have items stolen from them during the same period.
