No Injuries in Union Township Crash
According to the State Police at Frackville, around 7:15pm emergency personnel were caled to Ringtown Blvd near Firehouse Road for a motor vehicle accident.
Police say David Zienkiewicz, 19, of Ringtown was driving a Toyota Tacoma south on Ringtown Blvd and going uphill when he was navigating a left curve.
Zienkiewicz hit a large patch of ice causing him to fishtail and striking an embankment. The vehicle rolled 1 1/2 times. Zienkiewicz was reported to be wearing his seatbelt and was able to get out of the vehicle on his own and was unharmed.
Ringtown Valley Fire Department, Columbia Hose , and Shenandoah Ambulance assisted at the scene.
