Schuylkill County Police Log for 01/10/17
ASHLAND - On Tuesday morning, around 1:30am, Ashland Police were called to the 900 Block of Brock Street for a disturbance.
When Police arrived they found the disturbance took place between Debra Geist, 62, and Kevin Lawson, 48, both of Ashland.
According to Police, the disturbance began in 903 Brock Street, where an altercation took place, became very heated, items were being destroyed, and both physically assaulted each other. The altercation lead out into the street where Geist reportedly began throwing furniture towards Lawson.
This is when neighbors called Police after one of the pieces of furniture almost struck a parked vehicle.
Both Geist and Lawson were reported to be under the influence of alcohol.
Citations of disorderly conduct and public intoxication will be filed with Magisterial District Judge Christina Hale's office.
Butler Township Police also assisted at the scene.
