Additional Details Released in Investigation into Burglary of Storage Unit

More details have been released in an investigation into a theft from a storage unit in Orwigsburg.

On Tuesday, January 25, 2017, it was reported to the Orwigsburg Police Department that the lock had been cut on a storage unit that was leased at the In Town Self Storage facility located on S. Wayne Street in the borough.

Police say the burglary occurred when the pictured van approached the storage unit leased by the victim at approximately 2:50 pm on Tuesday, January 10, 2017. At that time, two males exited the vehicle and worked to gain access to the unit, subsequently stealing  saddles and bridles with a combined value of over $2,500. . One male appears to be approximately 6' tall and skinny with dark hair. The other was unable to be clearly identified.

The van has a sticker in the lower right portion of the windshield, a cargo rack, aftermarket wheel caps, and an inoperable high mount brake lamp.
