Methamphetamine Found During Search

The West Mahanoy Township Police Department has charged three individuals after an incident on February 15th, 2017 at a local motel. 

Police were alerted by the Pennsylvania State Police that a wanted individual was possibly staying at the motel. 

Police responded to the motel in an attempt to serve the warrant. While at the motel Police found that the room in question was occupied by three individuals, who were all wanted. 

During the course of the incident consent to search the room was obtained by Police. 

This search uncovered a large amount of Drug Paraphernalia, U.S. Currency, Marijuana, and Methamphetamine. 

Over $5,000 in U.S. Currency and approximately 80 grams of Methamphetamine were seized during the search. 

As a result of the incident Luis Mateo-Delgado, Reading, and Amanda Horner, also of Reading, were charged with Possession With Intent To Deliver a Controlled Substance along with several other charges. 

The third individual, Rance Young, Lancaster, was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Tampering With Evidence. 

The West Mahanoy Township Police Department was assisted at the scene by Officers from The Frackville Police Department, The Girardville Police Department, Schuylkill County Detectives, and Agents from The Pennsylvania State Parole Office. 

All individuals will have to answer to their charges before Magisterial District Judge Christina Hale, Frackville.
