Drug Charges Filed After Loud Party
ORWIGSBURG - Charges are pending against party-goers following a call to 224 E. Tammany Street, Orwigsburg for a loud noise complaint on April 2nd with a reported odor of marijuana coming from within the residence. Upon the arrival of officers and making contact with the occupants of the residence, the investigation resulted in the seizure of marijuana, synthetic marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. Applicable charges to be filed.
Charges Pending After Dog Attack
ORWIGSBURG - Charges are pending against the owner of a pitbull that attacked another dog in the Borough on April 4th. On this date, the victim was walking his dog in the 600 block of W. Cherry Street when a white pitbull belonging to an area resident ran towards him and attacked his dog. The victim’s dog required emergency veterinary care and follow-up treatment, but is expected to recover. The attacking dog is still subject to quarantine after which a determination will be made as to what charges will be filed.
