Man Charged with Disorderly Conduct

Ashland Police were called to Boyer's Supermarket, Ashland, on Monday, May 15th, around 11:42am for a report of a fight in progress.

Police say Zachery Brooke, 24, of Girardville was reportedly causing a disturbance inside the store and slapped a fire extinguisher from the wall while engaged in an argument with a store employee.

Ashland Police arrived and spoke with employees and Brooke, at which time Brooke was verbally abusive towards Police and was warned that he was no longer welcome on Boyer's property, per the manager.  He was also told to leave the property.

Brooke then went outside to East Middle Street and sat in the middle of the roadway causing oncoming traffic to go around him.
