Elks Drug Awareness Trailer to be at the Schuylkill County Fair

The Schuylkill County Fair has partner with the Elks of Frackville to bring a valuable resource for young and old alike to the Fair.

The Elks are bringing their Drug Awareness Trailer to teach young people about the dangers of drugs. Not only it is this trailer which is kid friendly with many hands on activities in which children can learn about the hazard that drugs can have in their lives, but it is a valuable resource for adults as well. Adult can use the trailer as a resource to become more drug educated or aware. The trailer will be at the Fair Wednesday through Saturday for all to stop by and learn more about the abuse tis issue that is plaguing our society.

The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks welcomes all view and interact with this valuable resource, the Elks National Drug Awareness Program - the largest volunteer drug awareness program in the United States. The Elks are very proud of their dedicated army of volunteers who freely give their time and talents to this most noble cause. The Elks are committed to eliminating the use and abuse of illegal drugs by all members of society and believe that in order to ensure a bright future for our country, it is essential that our children be raised in a drug-free environment.
