Man Charged with Attempted Homicide After Argument Led to Two Men Being Shot

One of the men involved in an argument where two were shot last Friday has been charged with attempted homicide.


According to reports, around 6:15pm, Friday(08/11/17), two men got into an argument in a home on Spruce Street in Port Carbon.

The fight reportedly escalated and a gun was discharged hitting both individuals.

The two men involved were identified as Alex Rosario and Kenneth Boyer, both of Port Carbon.

Boyer was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries, while Rosario was flown to Hershey Medical Center for his injuries.

On Thursday, Kenneth Boyer was charged by the State Police at Schuylkill Haven with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, and other charges.

He was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge David A. Plachko and locked up in Schuylkill County Prison on $250,000 Straight Cash Bail.
