Anastasia “Stasia” Jadosh, 78, of Mahanoy City, PA, passed away Friday, September 8th, peacefully, at Hometown Nursing and Rehab Center, Tamaqua.

Stasia was born in Mahanoy City, PA on December 10, 1938, a daughter of the late Ann (Zaborsky) and Joseph Mulacheski.

She was a member of Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish Mahanoy City, PA 17948.

She worked for many years at the Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. as our cleaning lady. She cleaned for many other families in Mahanoy City. She also worked for Mahanoy City Cigar, and the Mahanoy City Senior Center.

Stasia loved cooking her Bundukie's with the Lithuanian Cookers Crew.

She graduated from Mahanoy City High School Class of 1956.

Stasia was the widow of Albert Jadosh.

Stasia is survived by two sons Albert Jadosh, and Chris Jadosh, of Mahanoy City; a sister, Frances, wife of Charles Lipp, of Bethlehem, and 1 grandson Albert.

She is preceded in death by a brother Joseph Jr. and a sister Josephine Delcamp.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Mahanoy City, PA, at 10 am on Tuesday, September 12th, with Rev. Kevin P. Gallagher officiating.

Friends may call Tuesday 9 am at Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish.

Interment at St Joseph Cemetery Mahanoy City at the convenience of the family.

Sophia C. Rench, 94, of Mahanoy City, PA, passed away Saturday, September 9th, peacefully, at her residence. .

Sophia was born in Mahanoy City, PA on September 23, 1922, a daughter of the late Amelia and John Bedulsky.

Sophie was a member of Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish Mahanoy City, PA 17948.

She worked at the former City Shirt Mahanoy City as well as the custodian of the Mahanoy City Library.

Sophie was a member of the West End Fire & Rescue Ladies Auxiliary, and the St. Magdalene Society.

She graduated from Mahanoy City High School Class of 1941

She was wife of the late Joseph Rench.

Sophia is survived by a daughter, Joann Koback, and her husband Edward of Mahanoy City, and by grandchildren, Edward Koback and Kimberly Walsh, two great grandchildren Taylor and Tevin. Nephews and a niece.

Sophie is preceded in death by Sons Joseph and Robert, brothers George and Edward Strasavage, and a sister Albina Palmer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Mahanoy City, PA, at 11 am on Thursday, September 14th, with Rev. Kevin P. Gallagher officiating.

Friends may call Thursday 10 am at Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish.

Interment will be in St Joseph Cemetery Mahanoy City, PA.

Jacqueline M. Jones-Allison, age 49, of Orwigsburg, PA passed away with her loving family by her side on Wednesday, September 6th, 2017 at her home. 

Born in Pottsville, PA on November 8, 1967, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Jane C. (Schappell) Jones. Jackie was a graduate of Pottsville Area High School, Class of 1985. She earned a degree in Medical Assistance from the Academy of Medical Arts and Business in 1987 and then graduated as a Registered Nurse from the Reading Hospital School of Nursing in 1990. She worked first at the Reading Hospital and then at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Pottsville. Jackie was a member of Faith Church in Orwigsburg. She had a love for animals and also for gardening, shopping, and camping. 

Jackie is survived by her husband of 25 years, Sean R. Allison and their 2 sons: Nicholas and Joshua Allison, all of Orwigsburg; 2 sisters: Carolynn A. Guscott and her husband Jeffrey and Marsha J. Dudash and her husband Robert, both of Pottsville; and nieces and nephews. 

A Religious Service will be held at the Faith Church in Orwigsburg on Monday September 11th at 12 Noon, with Rev. Doug Cresswell officiating. Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Monday morning from 10AM-12PM at the Faith Church. 

Interment will be held in the Cressona Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Faith Church Women's Group or Cancer Group, Route 61 South, P.O. Box 323 Orwigsburg, PA 17961.

Dorothy Josphine Gardner, age 87, of Pottsville, PA passed away with her loving family by her side on Thursday, September 7th, 2017 at The Gardens at York Terrace in Pottsville. 

Born in Pottsville, PA on March 19, 1930, she was the daughter of the late John and Julia (Moore) McCready. Dorothy was a graduate of Pottsville Catholic High School. She worked as a Branch Manager at Miners Bank in the Cressona Mall and she was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Pottsville. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Barbara Flynn, brother Edward McCready, and 3 sisters: Rosemary Ashman, Mary Andresky, and Sheila Frantz. 

Dorothy is survived by 2 daughters: Rose Ann Clark and Colleen Thompson; a son Frederick Gardner; 9 grandchildren: John and Scott Flannery, James and Jason Thomas, Jeff and Robert Thompson, Jennifer Rhoads, Alliison Rogers, and Christian Gardner; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters: Bell Kutz, and Elizabeth Hahner; and many nieces and nephews. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Pottsville at 10AM on Tuesday September 12, 2017. 

Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Monday evening from 6-8PM and Tuesday morning from 8:30-9:30AM at the Robert A Evans Jr Funeral Home 208 Pike St., Port Carbon. Interment will be held in the Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery in Pottsville.
