According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, around 2:00pm, a two vehicle hit and run crash occurred as a vehicle driven by Christopher Kelly, 49, of Birdsboro, PA was traveling eastbound on SR895 (Summer Valley Road) in East Brunswick Township and had stopped in the lane of travel while a vehicle was turning left onto Red Dale Road.
The other vehicle, the hit and run vehicle, failed to see Kelly stopped in the roadway and struck the rear end of Kelly's vehicle. After both vehicles pulled off the roadway, the other vehicle fled from the area southbound on River Road.
The suspect's vehicle is described as a small light blue sedan, possibly a Chevrolet Cruze, with front end damage.
