The Pottsville Bureau of
Police is investigating an incident that occurred at approximately 11:40am on Friday
10/20/17 at the Brok-Sel store, 1607 West Market Street, Pottsville.
According to Police, a white male, approximately 6 feet tall,
thin build, with short brown hair, wearing a hat, gray sleeveless t-shirt, and
dark blue shorts gave the store clerk a handwritten note demanding money. The clerk turned over a small amount of cash
and the male left the store.
No weapon was used during
the incident and no direct threat of violence was ever communicated.
