Eagles to Rise in Tamaqua on New Year's Eve

On New Years Eve, the Tamaqua Area Chamber of Commerce will have it's 20th annual New Year's Eve Eagle Rise at the ABC Tamaqua Hi-Rise. The Count down to 2018 will include lighted eagles as they make their way to the top of Tamaqua's tallest building.

The event will run from 11:00pm, Sunday to 1:00am, Monday.

This free community event began in 1998 to usher in Tamaqua’s bicentennial year. Frank Fabrizio of Brockton has provided the light and sound every year. The Tamaqua Area Chamber of Commerce thanks the Tamaqua Borough, Tamaqua Police Department, Tamaqua Fire Police, and ABC Hi-Rise for their support and cooperation.
