Mahanoy City Police Arrest Fugitive Wanted in Three Counties

A woman wanted in 3 counties was taken into custody by police.


On the Thursday evening around 9:45pm, Officers from the Mahanoy City Police Department apprehended a wanted fugitive, Krystal Kearney. Kearny, 25, of Tobyhanna.

She was taken into custody in the 1000 block of East Railroad Street during a drug incident.

At the time of her apprehension, Kearney was found to be in possession of a Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia, and will face those charges, which are filed by the Mahanoy City Police Department.

Kearney is a fugitive in 3 counties including Schuylkill and Northumberland on bench warrants.

Additionally, Kearney is also wanted in Lackawanna County by the Scranton Police Department for Unauthorized Use of an Automobile. Kearney was transported and locked up in Schuylkill County Prison.
