State Police Investigating Williams Valley School District Threat

Police and school authorities are investigating a potential threat to the Williams Valley School District.

On Tuesday, The Williams Valley School District announced the following:

Late Monday afternoon (2/19/2018) the Williams Valley administration was made aware of a threatening message that was being shared on social media concerning a potential incident that may involve our school. The message was forwarded to the administration from a concerned WV parent.

The Pennsylvania State Police were notified immediately and began an investigation. WV students who received the Snapchat picture of the message were interviewed by the police to try to determine the origin of the message.
