Heroin, Methamphetamine, Marijuana and Prescription Pills Seized In Drug Raid in Frackville

Drugs and other contraband were seized during a raid in Frackville on Tuesday.


On Tuesday, March 27, 2018, members of the Schuylkill County District Attorney's Office, Drug Task Force, Frackville Borough Police Department, and Pennsylvania State Police Troop L from Reading, executed a Court authorized search and seizure warrant on a residence located on North Railroad Avenue in Frackville.

According to authorities, numerous items of contraband were seized ruing the search of the residence.

Seized during the search were:

- Quantities of bulk heroin with a street value in excess of $7,200
- Quantities of marijuana with a street value in excess of $300.00
- Quantities of methamphetamine and prescription pills
- Drug paraphernalia
- 3 Firearms

Jon Peter Dougherty Jr, 35, was charged and arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Christina Hale with 2 counts with possession with intent to deliver (heroin and marijuana), 5 counts of possession of a controlled substance (heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana, buprenorphine/naloxone pills and clonazepam pills) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dougherty was locked up in Schuylkill County Prison in lieu of $50,000 straight cash bail.
