Mahanoy City Police Work to Create Community Relationship with Preschool Children

On Thursday morning, members of the Mahanoy City Police Department met with preschool children to build new community relationships.

Corporal Charles Kovalewski and Chief Kenneth Zipovsky of the Mahanoy City Police took time out of their normal police duties and spent some time interacting with approximately three dozen preschool children at the Child Development Center located at 80 North Main Street.

During this time children got to interact with the police officers and ask questions.  The Officers also read books to the children as part of the program.
