Arlan A. Bressler, 97, of Douglassville, passed away May 24th, at home.

Born in Auburn, he was the son of the late Norman & Mary (Moyer) Bressler.

He was the widower of Mildred A. (Killian) Bressler, who died July 28, 1990.

Before retiring in 1980, Mr. Bressler had been employed by the former Pennsylvania Railroad, Penn Central, and Conrail as trackman car repairman, welder, and car inspector.

As an Army veteran of World War II, Mr. Bressler received the Purple Heart when he was injured in the North African Campaign. He was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans.

Surviving are his daughters; June M. Lloyd, of Pottstown, Helen A. Murray, & Kathryn A. Reppert, of Birdsboro. He is also survived by six grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and nieces & nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife Mildred, he is also preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Klingaman, and all his brothers and sisters.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be conducted Wednesday at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc., 25 E. Main St., Schuylkill Haven, at 11 a.m.

A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home on Wednesday.

Interment with military honors will immediately follow the service at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.

June L. Daubert, 88, of Covered Bridge Rd., Pine Grove, passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018.
Born on November 29, 1929 in Spring Glen, she was a daughter of the late Carlos and Margaret Hoover Hoffman.
She was a member of the Schuylkill Church of the Brethren, Pine Grove and was a former member of the Women's Republican Convention.
June had worked at Canoe Mfg. and Summit Station Mfg., in Pine Grove, the Walk In Shoe Factory in Schuylkill Haven and before retiring was a dishwasher at the Truck Stop in Pine Grove.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Luke Daubert on June 19, 2011 and a sister, Betty Lenker.
Surviving are two sons; Lynn Daubert and fiancée Michelle Long of Pine Grove, Dean and wife Ann Marie Daubert of Pottsville; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; a brother, Robert Hoffman, nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove with Pastor Richard Hoffman officiating. There will be a viewing on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Schuylkill Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Pine Grove.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the Schuylkill Church of the Brethren, 347 Sweet Arrow Lake Rd., Pine Grove, Pa. 17963 in her memory.

Dale F.E. Bixler, 13, of Tower City, formerly of Hegins, passed away very unexpectedly Wednesday at his home.

Born in Pottsville, January 12, 2005, a son of Matthew and Brandy Gerber Bixler.

Dale was a 7th grade student at Williams Valley Jr.-Sr. High School. He previously attended Tri-Valley School District until this past year.

Dale enjoyed being on facebook and face timeing his family and friends. He will be remembered as a warm and affectionate boy, who seen the good in everyone. He had countless friends both at Tri Valley and Williams Valley. Everyone loved Dale and his infectious smile.


He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sharon Klouser, George Gerber and Dale and Karen Bixler. Great Grandparents, Wayne and Anna Mae Klouser; Charles and Ruth Miller.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his brothers, Matthew, Kevin, Michael and George Bixler and Tristan Jillard; a sister, Anita Bixler; grandmother, Candi Gerber; two great grandmothers, Penny Reigela nd Peggy Hill. Aunts, Melanie Neidlinger (Tyler), Deserie Chase (Bob), Tiffany Gerber (Jeff), Melissa Bixler, Melinda Lesher, Lisa Harner, Jennifer Deech and Jill Bixler. Two uncles, Cory and Richard Matter.

A Celebration of Dale's Life will be held on Sunday, June 10th from the Sacramento Fire Company, 2199 E Main St, Sacramento beginning at 1 pm.
