On Monday May 28, 2018 the annual City of Pottsville Memorial Day parade is scheduled to start at 10:00am.
The parade begins at 12th and West Market Streets and proceeds east on West Market Street to North Centre Street, north on Centre Street to West Arch Street, west on W. Arch Street to North 4th Street, and south on 4th Street to Market, ending in Garfield Square. At 1100hrs the Memorial Day ceremony in Garfield Square will begin.
Prior to the parade, the Memorial Day Mile event will take place beginning at 8:45am. The race route is on West Market Street beginning in the 1800 block and ending at 6th Street.
Temporary traffic and parking restrictions along the race and parade routes will take affect at 6:30am Monday 05/28/18 until the completion of the activities.
