The investigation is still ongoing into a fire to an unoccupied home in Mahanoy Plane on Sunday.
Just before 7:00pm, Sunday, fire crews were called to 116 Island Road, Gilberton, in Mahanoy Plane for a working structure.
The fire completely destroyed the home.
The Frackville Police Department and Pennsylvania State Police have been investigating the fire.
According to Frackville Police Chief Richard Bell, after an initial investigation, due to the deterioration of the home sitting for 15 years vacant, then add the fire damage, they deemed the home unsafe to enter.
Police are still investigating a lead where witnesses seen a male and a female near the home prior to the start of the fire. The two individuals were then seen leaving the scene on nearby railroad tracks heading towards Girardville.
