June E. Stapleton, 94 years of age a longtime Tamaqua, resident passed away on Monday, June 18, 2018, at Hometown Nursing & Rehabilitation Ctr. in Hometown. 

Born Monday, March 24, 1924 in Tamaqua, daughter of the late Archie, and Edna (Behler) Woodward. 

Surviving are daughter, Barbara Parrish wife of Charles T. of Tamaqua; sister, Arlene S. Moyer of Tamaqua; nephews, Donald and Darron Moyer. 

June was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Tamaqua. 

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. of 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252. (570) 668-2550 

A Funeral service will be held on Monday June 25, 2018 at 11 o'clock AM from the funeral home. Friends may call on the morning of services from 9:30 A.M. until time of services. 

Interment will be in Sky-View Memorial Park, Tamaqua, PA.

Daniel G. Zaprazny, Jr., son, brother, uncle, 54 years of age of Summer Valley Road New Ringgold, Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at home while in the care of his family. 

Born Sunday, May 3, 1964 in Coaldale son of Daniel Zaprazny, Sr. with whom he resided and the late Marie E. (Ziegler) Zaprazny who passed away on April 3, 2009. Daniel was also predeceased by a brother, Edward J., and nephew Austin Hillbish. 

Surviving are brother, Harry Zaprazny, sisters, Debra Mattern wife of Paul of Drums, Christine Zaprazny of Cressona and Melissa Lynam wife of Anthony of Manada Hills; nieces and nephews, Nicole and her husband Michael, Jason, Allison, Emily, Maria,Tucker; great nieces and nephews, Aubrielle, Rylan Jean, Alaina, Avery, JoLynn, Bailey, Levi, Carter and Will. 

A member of Christ Church of McKeansburg, Dan was a talented carpenter and very artistic. He had worked for Jaflo for a number of years. Dan enjoyed working with his dad, and spending time with family. He was a story teller. 

The Robert S. Nester Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. of 2066 West Penn Pike New Ringgold, Pennsylvania 17960 has been entrusted with his care. 

Funeral Services will be held on Friday June 22, 2018 at 11 o'clock A.M. from the funeral home, Rev. Sunny Stock to officiate. Friends may call from 9:30 A.M. until time of services.

Loretta C. Zilker, 85, of Mahanoy City, PA, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday June 18, 2018.

Born in Shenandoah, April 30, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Victor J. and Cassie (Skonieczny) Bykowsky.
She worked at several local garment factories. She was a parishioner of Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Mahanoy City. She was a life member of the Park Crest Fish and Game Association.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and teaching them the old school way of life. She was very passionate about cooking, baking, and jarring. Anyone who was fortunate enough to have some of her food, knew it was the best. As an avid wrestling fan, she enjoyed local and professional wrestling venues. She will be remembered by many for her outspoken and quick-witted personality.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon E. Zilker in 2003.
Surviving are her two sons: Leon P., husband of Meredith and Kevin, husband of Sherry. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Brady, Aiden, Madelyn, Noah, and Ryan. Nieces and nephews.
She was especially grateful for her nephew, Edward Bykowsky and his wife Helene, and her caring neighbors, Mark and Elaine Fowler.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 23, 2018, at Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Mahanoy City, PA. Rev. Kevin Gallagher officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 AM at the church.
