South Carolina Man Found in Mahanoy City with Heroin, Methamphetamine, Body Armor, and Weapons

According to Mahanoy City Police, on Saturday, June 2nd, Patrolman Rachael Lenar charged a South Carolina resident with multiple criminal violations.

Police say Steven Osborne, 32, of South Carolina was found to be under the influence, and behind the wheel in a running vehicle near the intersection of East Mahanoy Street and South 1st Street in the borough.

In addition to being under the influence while operating the motor vehicle, it was determined that Osborne was in possession of several loaded weapons, body armor, Heroin, Methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia. Osborne taken into custody and charged with a total of 8 criminal offenses.

Osborne was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Ferrier, and was committed to the Schuylkill County Prison in lieu of $15,000.00 cash bail.
