Home Damaged in Shenandoah Fire

A home was damaged in a fire in Shenandoah Tuesday afternoon.

Around 4:00pm Tuesday, Shenandoah fire crews were dispatched to 35 South White Street in the borough for a working structure fire.

Crews arrived to find heavy smoke and flames come from the roof of the home.

About 20 minutes after crews were dispatched, a 2nd alarm was issued calling in additional units from neighboring communities.

Firefighters were able to contain the fire to a single home and were able to bring the fire under control just after 5:00pm.
