Investigation Leads to Shenandoah Woman Facing Charges for Hit and Run near Ringtown

An investigation by State Police led to the finding of a driver who was involved in a Hit and Run near Ringtown earlier this month.


According to the State Police at Frackville, around 8:30pm on August 17, 2018, a gray Ford Mustang struck a vehicle parked in a private driveway on Aristes Road near 15th Street in Union Township, near Ringtown.

After the crash, the Mustang then fled the scene in an unknown direction.

The investigation led to the driver of the Mustang being identified as Donna Redmond, 58, of Shenandoah.

Criminal Complaint was filed with Magisterial District Judge Christina Hale's office on charges of Accidents involving damage to attended vehicle or property, careless driving, duty to give information and render aid, and other traffic offenses.
