On Thursday, Girardville Police Officer-in-Charge Jody Long and Mayor Joseph Catizone gave Jacob Roth, from the borough a brand new bike.
According to Mayor Catizone, "Borough Police been doing a great job integrating in with the community and wanted to start outreaching to the youth in town".
"They have really become part of the community in town and that was lacking for a while. Their professionalism and approachability have really made an impact in their relationship with citizens of the borough." said Catizone.
