On Monday, Mahanoy Township police began searching for a teen that was reported missing.
Their investigation led to the Tamaqua area
where the teen was spotted early Wednesday.
All previous searches found nothing.
According to Mahanoy Township Police Chief Brandon Alexander, police agencies from Mahanoy Township, Tamaqua, Coaldale, and Rush Township responded to a tip late Thursday that the teen was hiding in a home in Tamaqua.
Police conducted a search of the home around 9:30pm and found the teen hiding in attic but was found safe.
