Two Uninjured After Crash in Ashland Wednesday Evening

A male and female were uninjured after a crash in Ashland late Wednesday.

The crash occurred around 9:15pm, Wednesday at the intersection of Memorial Boulevard and Centre Street in Ashland.

Early assessment at the scene was the vehicle was travelling towards Ashland from Centralia and failed to stop at the intersection. The vehicle travelled through a guard rail, through the former Snyder's Parking Lot, and came to a stop along 21st Street .

The male, who was the passenger in the vehicle, was treated at the scene while the female, the driver, was taken to an area hospital for evaluation.  Both had exited the vehicle prior to responders arriving.

Responding to the scene were the American Hose Company, Washington Rescue, and Washington Ambulance.

Oakland Auto assisted at the scene with towing.

The Pennsylvania State Police is investigating.
