Man Stabbed During Argument in Girardville

Girardville man facing aggravated assault charges after an argument turned into a stabbing.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police on Friday, November 2nd, 2018 around 3:30am, Curt Marquardt, 29, of Frackville, and Robert McClintock, 40, of Girardville became involved in verbal argument on Vine Street, in Girardville. 

Police say the argument turned physical when McClintock pulled out a 12" bayonet.

A struggle began and the victim received minor stab wounds.

Marquardt was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital South, Pottsville, with minor stab wounds to his hands and face.

McClintock is facing aggravated assault charges.
