Ashland Celebrates Christmas the Old-Fashioned Way

On Saturday evening, Ashland celebrated their annual Old-Fashioned Downtown Christmas.

The event was sponsored by the Ashland Historical Preservation Society and was held next to the American Legion at 5th and Centre Street.

With temperatures in the 20's, borough residents bundled up and took free rides on the horse and carriage rides and listened to Christmas Carols from the Ashland Community Choir.

Inside the American Legion, food, drinks, and hot chocolate were offered and kids were able to meet with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Winterwalk and Station House were also open to the public.
