Fairlane Village Mall Events Scheduled for January

POTTSVILLE, Pa., Jan. 2, 2019 – Kick off the New Year with a visit to Fairlane Village Mall, where a full calendar of January events offers something for everyone.

Events are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted as follows:
  • Jan. 12: Meet the Greater Pottsville Winter Carnival Princesses from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Contestants will be walking through the mall introducing themselves and selling buttons to benefit the event. For any questions about the Winter Carnival events, please contact Dee Boris at 570-640-8522.
  • Jan. 12: The Greater Pottsville Winter Carnival “Snowdrop Fashion Show” takes place at 5 p.m. in the storefront next to Super Shoes. The public is invited to cheer on these young contestants as they show off their fashions and vie for the crown.
  • Jan: 12: Learn more about local job opportunities during the T-102 Job & Career Fair, sponsored by radio station T-102. Businesses will be located throughout the mall.
  • Jan. 17: The Greater Pottsville Winter Carnival “Costume Fashion Show” takes place at 6 p.m. in the storefront next to Super Shoes. Come cheer on the Carnival’s high school contestants!
  • Jan. 19: Cub Scout Pack 604 will hold its annual Pine Wood Derby. The event takes place in Center Court and begins at 12:30 p.m.
Fairlane Village Mall, “Where Schuylkill County Shops For Value,” is located on Route 61 North, just one mile from downtown Pottsville.
