According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, the body of Richard Messersmith, 78, of Tower City was located Tuesday evening on State Game Lands on Greenland Road, Jefferson Township, Dauphin County.
Messersmith was reported missing after he left his residence on Monday around 12:15pm enroute to BB&T Bank in Lykens, Dauphin County. The last time Messersmith was seen was 12:34pm when he left the bank in an unknown direction.
The Pennsylvania State Police at Lykens is handling the death investigation.
