Lehigh Carbon Community College is offering two health care training courses at its Tamaqua location this spring, and a limited number of scholarships are available to those who qualify.

The Home Health Aide course runs April 15 through May 8, Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. The program prepares students for entry-level employment in a home health care setting, offering well-rounded knowledge of basic patient care skills and home management. The Office Assistant course runs May 13 to July 8, Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 to 8:30 p.m. This training course is designed to equip students with the professional skills needed to become an administrative assistant.
