STS Cancels Saturday Service Ahead of Winter Storm

The Schuylkill Transportation System has cancelled all Saturday service.

Governor Wolf Signs "State of Emergency" Ahead of Weekend Storm

With an intense winter storm expected to bring heavy snow, high winds, sleet and freezing rain across the state through this weekend, Governor Tom Wolf today signed a state of emergency declaration to allow for increased assistance with storm-related needs.

On Thursday, Lebanon Valley College, Annville, announced their 2018 Fall Semester Dean's list.  Out of 700 recognized, 42 students were from Schuylkill County.

Aaron Tallman, a senior from the Williams Valley School District, achieved 2nd place in a Regional Precision Machine Competition hosted by Carbon Career and Technical Institute (CCTI) on Tuesday, December 4, 2018.  The Schuylkill Technology Center (STC) South Campus announced on Friday.
