Pottsville Police Arrest Three for Burglary


Last week, the Pottsville Police arrested three for a burglary that had allegedly occurred.

According to Pottsville Police Chief Richard Wojiechowsky, on Wednesday 04/17/19 around 12:30pm, Pottsville Police were notified of a burglary that had occurred at 51 Overlook Drive, Pottsville.

An investigation led to Ptlm Joseph Murton obtaining arrest warrants for Archie Dominic Ciccanti, 38, of Pottsville, Buddy Charles Noel , 39, of Pottsville, and David Allen Legutko, 36, of Port Carbon on the charges of Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Burglary, Criminal Trespass, Theft and Receiving Stolen Property.

The three men were later taken into custody in Palo Alto.

Each was arraigned by on-call Magisterial District Judge David J. Rossi, Tremont, who set bail at $50,000 for each man and ordered them committed to the Schuylkill County Prison.

The investigation is continuing and police are in the process of recovering items stolen from the residence.

Ciccanti has since been released on bail, while Noel and Legutko remain in Schuylkill County Prison.
