William H. Shriner Jr., 68, Ashland, passed away peacefully on Tuesday afternoon at Mt. Carmel Nursing and Rehab Center with his wife at his side.

Born in Harrisburg, he was a son of Linda Sunkel Shriner and the late William H. Shriner Sr. Bill worked as a millwright for Fruehauf Corp. in Middletown.

Bill lived in Montana for 31 years before returning back to Ashland. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 48 years, Shirley Scheetz Shriner; his daughter Jody Shriner; step-daughter Wanda and her husband Bill Sweitzer; two brothers: Donny and his wife Jackie Shriner and Terry Shriner; two sisters: Mary Ann and her husband Greg Knaub and Jean Shriner; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Dennis Koch, husband, father, pap, 69 years of age of Oak Lane Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at home.

Survived by is wife of forty-six years, Ellen R. (Stidham) Koch; sons, Richard D. Koch and his finance Amanda Benko of Harrisburg, Dennis R. Koch and his wife Gina of Quakake; daughter, Heather R. Koch of Nesquehoning; sister, Linda Yoder wife of Danny; grand children, Chance, Madison, Zoey, Zayden, Isabella, Celena, Daniel; great grand child, Shelby. Many nieces and nephews also survive Dennis.

Dennis worked for Bethlehem Mines for many years, before driving truck for Fox Transportation, and Brian Miller Trucking. Dennis, enjoyed drag and motor cycle racing.

Born Wednesday, October 26, 1949 in Pottsville, Pennsylvania the son of the late Albert and Helen (Everhart) Koch.

A funeral service will be held on Friday evening April 12, 2019 at 7 o'clock P.M. from the funeral home. Friends may call from 5:00 P.M. until time of services.

Kevin L. Bush, 55, of Tower City, passed away early Tuesday morning at home after a courageous 2 1/2 year battle with cancer.

Kevin was born in Pottsville, September 27, 1963, a son of Julia Carl Bush, Tower City and the late Ronald Bush.

He was a 1981 graduate of Williams Valley High School.

Kevin was the General Manager at Advanced Disposal, Shippensburg. He previously was a coal miner working at his family's business, Bush Coal Company.

Kevin enjoyed fourwheeling and being in the outdoors. He loved spending time with his family and friends at his camp in Sunbury, where he could be found out on the river on his boat. His family meant the world to him.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Jonathan, 1989.

Surviving in addition to his mother are his beloved wife of 34 years, April Zimmerman Bush; one son, Andrew Bush and his wife Emilee, Tower City; two daughters, Heather Schaeffer and her husband Kyle, Williamstown and Callie Keener and her husband Tim, Middletown; a brother, Karl Bush and his wife Jackie, Tower City; a sister, Wanda Frenya and her husband Howard, Williamstown; two granddaughters, Kylah and Karlee Bush; several nieces and nephews including Ryan Frenya, whom Kevin was very close to.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 13th at 11 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc. with Pastor Annette Shutt. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. Sophia "Sue" Korab, 98, of Tower City, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning at her home.

Born in Coaldale, Dauphin County, March 1, 1921, a daughter of the late Wasel Charles and Mary Davhulich Runchock.

Sue was a retired seamstress from the garment industry.

She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Chapel, Tower City and the Catholic women's club. She was also a member of the Linglestown American Legion Auxiliary and the ILGWU.

Sue was recently honored this past summer by the Tower City / Porter Twp. Sesquicentennial as the oldest resident in the community, she enjoyed being in the parade.

She loved being surrounded by her family and will be deeply missed. She enjoyed cooking and baking for family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, 1993; sisters, Anna Panikarchuk, Mary Buren, Julia Weiser; brother, Charles Runchock.

Surviving are her three children, John J. Korab; Rose Mary Reiner and her husband Larry and Joan "Dea" Reinohel and her husband Dennis all of Tower City. Six grandchildren, Susan, John, Nancy and Jane Korab, Larry Reiner and Denise Smeltz. Nine great grandchildren, Delaney, Sydney, Kylie, Kayla, Dustin, Sierra, Tyler, Hayle and Montana. Three great grandchild, Savannah, Hadleigh and Adelyn. Numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Julie, Cara, Niki, Cindy and Maryann for the excellent care they took care of their mother these past few years.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated, Monday, April 15th at 11 am from the Sts. Peter and Paul Chapel, Tower City with Rev. Jason Stokes as celebrant. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Williamstown. Viewing will be from 9:30-10:30 at the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., Tower City.
